Hello!
My name is Ivy, I operate Ruby & Mathilda with my mother.
Ruby & Mathilda are my great-grandmother and 2nd great-grandmother. Mathilda, the daughter of a farmer, was a young woman at the turn of the century, seeing the inventions of the telephone, electricity and radio. Ruby, her daughter, grew up as a young girl during the Great Depression and experienced the turmoil of WWII as a war wife. These women represent the women of their time: strong, hardworking and resilient.
We love vintage because it tells a story - these items can speak in their own way, you just have to listen.
In our shop you will find timeless and authentic pieces, from the Victorian era to the 1950's. We are so happy to pass along some of the charming vintage items we've gathered to others.
