Hello!

I'm a Catholic work-at-home mama. Happily married to a loving man. Living in California, raised in small-town Idaho.

My interest in sewing began shortly before the birth of my son.

I always admired moms bustling through the grocery store with their child happily bouncing on their hip. I adored the beautiful Mei Tai style carriers adorned with beads and bright colors made by the fiercely dedicated Hmong women. I gawked at the amazing wraps used in wrapyouinlove's youtube tutorials.

However, the carriers that I loved all seemed somehow too complicated for me. I just have a hard time imagining navigating 5 yards of fabric around me and a wiggly little one. Enter: the ring sling. Only one problem. The ring slings I found were just not my style. I couldn't find anything that made me get those "consumer butterflies."

I did a ton of research to see what fabrics are safest, what type of thread to use, and which rings are made specifically for baby-wearing and so on..then I made one. And another. And another. Now I'm obsessed with pairing fun fabrics, and creating new designs.

I make ring slings for moms who aren't afraid to play with fabrics, textures, and colors in their wardrobes. I think of a ring sling almost as a scarf- an opportunity to spice up your look.
