Minecraft C2C (corner to corner) Blanket Pattern

**This pattern uses a specific type of stitch called corner to corner (C2C). It is really quite easy and relaxing if you know how to do a C2C square. Corner to corner involves chains, slip stitches and double crochet stitches.

Though basic knowledge of C2C is recommended, it's not necessary because if you've crocheted before, you'll find it easy to learn. I do not include instructions on how to do C2C, but there are wonderful tutorials on YouTube. Here is one of them:

This pattern includes 20 different elements (objects/characters) plus the Minecraft title. This pattern is all one piece (there is NO individual patterns for each element) so you are NOT sewing the pieces together at the end.

This DIGITAL pattern includes:
- The graphic pattern (on 1 page, 4, pages and 9 pages)
- The written instructions row by row
- The color-block count instructions

This blanket is large (100 x 100) tiles and would be considered intermediate level.

This blanket pattern uses size 4 (medium) yarn (worsted or weighted). I personally used a 4 mm hook and my finished blanket will be about 67 x 67 inches (170 x 170 cm). The amount of material used will depend on the user's tension and hook size, therefore I have not included that information.

However, the best way to find out how much yarn you need is to stitch one "typical" c2c block, then unravel it and measure it in inches. Always round up when measuring. Now multiple that measurement per tile by the number of tiles of one of the colors (ex: green). Convert that into yards and you will have how much green yarn you need for your project. Again, round up! Do that with all of your colors.
