5 na 5 gwiazdekI originally saw the pattern instructions on Youtube and had to try it out, as I really wanted the original dress it was inspired by - the pattern came out great and sewed up very quickly! I ended up adding a trim for length, but I think the pattern is true to the original dress (and easy to modify). So happy with how close it is to the original, and can’t wait to make more and buy more patterns in the future! The Youtube video was really helpful (sometimes a little hard to see because of the black fabric), as the pattern doesn’t otherwise include instructions, so I would say this pattern is for an intermediate sewer. It also doesn’t include yardage, but I ended up using about 2.5-3 yards of 58 in. wide fabric for size S (true-to-size). Really recommend, and am already tempted to buy the other dress patterns Aphrodite has! 💕

Thank you so much for your response and valuable information. I agree with the black fabric comment and will try to create all tutorials with a colorful fabric so it’s easier to identify what is going on. I will also include the yardage figures for my next patterns as I can also see now how important this is. Thank you so much again for your support.

This dress turned out to be a hell of a ride. It's *not*, and I repeat, NOT beginner friendly, the pattern doesn't come with the sizing instructions, some of the pieces are labeled incorrectly (top front is actually top back), the seller doesn't respond back for more than 48hrs (and counting). I don't give bad feedback to any small business owners, but this pattern has to have more information. If there weren't a youtube video, I would have no idea what to do with it. The cut is low, really really low, so if you are above a C cup, you need to make a drastic changes. Overall, I am really happy how the dress turned out, since the pattern is correct, but I wouldn't mind if the seller provided all of the information's that are important of making a garment.

Thank you for comments and feedback. I love receiving feedback of this nature as I am new to posting my creations and want to make them as accessible as possible to everyone. I am currently working on the sizing to giving a accurate sizing chart. Sorry also for not responding quickly on your questions I will check my posts on a daily basis and provide quick responses. With regard to the cut I will look at this, yes the dress is low cut as part of the design but maybe to low and I need to be more conservative with the pattern for a wider market. BTW, I love the image you shared with the two tone fabrics which give a vintage aesthetic vibe. Thank you again for your feedback I will address you comments in my other posts so as to give potential customers as much information as I can.

Pattem was easy to follow. Great you tube video. Had a question for the seller to see if they would make a small change due to my clients shape. Recieved an updated pdf same day.

the pattern is easy to follow, i just made mine and i am loving it. i have seen similar dress from house of cb and they are relatively similar. I am glad i found this as house of cb is quite expensive. i made mine for only $20 while house of cb dress is $200. definitely recommended
