Shipping is not refundable. I am not responsible for packages lost during shipment. The sale value is declared in the appropriate customs form for international parcels. The buyer is responsible for any import duties that may be due.
Insurance and/or Express Mail can be made available upon request. Please expect most international packages to ship Express with tracking for no less than $45 (AUD).
I make every effort to describe items as accurately as possible, including pictures, measurements, and noting the condition of the garment. Please recognise a garment might fall within a 10-year time range earlier or later than the listed date. Please contact me if you see a listing you think is misdated.
Most vintage garments do not have fabric content tags and so descriptions of fabric types are my best and experienced estimations. Every effort is taken to be accurate but no guarantee is expressed.
During thorough inspection, I may miss some small imperfections, that therefore may be excluded from the description. It is fair and reasonable to expect signs of wear commensurate with age in any vintage garment. As with all vintage, items will never look like brand new, shop-bought garments. Items are not returnable unless something has been greatly misdescribed. Vintage garments may require alteration for a proper individual fit. Please do not request returns for items that do not fit.
My garments are generally in excellent condition although it is important to bear in mind that minor signs of wear should be expected commensurate with the age and history of an item. I use the following grading system:
Deadstock – New vintage stock with tags attached. Garments have never been worn but storage over the decades may mean there are still blemishes. If this is the case, these will be described as accurately as possible.
Mint/Perfect – Garments are as pristine as the day originally sold, showing no signs of wear. There are no original tags.
Near Perfect – Garments show only the slightest signs of wear.
Excellent – Garments show typical, though minor, signs of wear.
Very Good – Garments are absolutely wearable but have some flaws (e.g. staining, snagging, or discolouration).
Poor – Garments are wearable but shows significant signs of wear. In most cases these pieces can be restored. The price balances rarity and materials with condition.
Please contact me for additional information if you require clarification.
Thank you so much for supporting my small independent business and keeping vintage alive!
