"Kibitama" is a silk fabric made by twisting two kinds of yarns called Kibiso and Tamaito.
Kibiso is a part of the outer of the raw material cocoon and very hard material. Tamaito is a silk yarn made of two silkworms together. So, it is difficult to handle because there are many nodes made of thread's entangled. And these are materials that is not relatively used in silk products. "Kibitama" is a cloth made by devising how to make thread so that they become as easy-to-handle cloth as possible.
At first glance, you may feel roughness like hemp, but you will feel the softness that fits in your hand while touching, and you feel luxury with rarity gloss.

We can gave two type colors, Indigo and Natural. Both of colors are plant dyeing.
Indigo is woven into a border pattern using indigo dark and light two color thread.
Natural is dyed using Gobaishi that can be taken from Rhus chinensis.
The inside of the bag is using a bold cotton print cloth. This cloth is a cloth made for Japanese futon. It is a textile of Japan in the about 80s.
