Facts about my patches:
Yes, they are done on felt, because it does not fray.
If you would like a different material contact me.
I leave a little extra iron on backing around the edge;
Makes peeling off paper easier and insures better adhesion.
You may trim it off.

because every iron and material is different.

I ALWAYS recommend sewing it on. especially items that will be laundered frequently and thick material, hats, backpacks.

I love these patches! My son and I each chose a patch to personalize our storage cubes. He chose the wolf, I chose the ghost cat. I was so impressed with the quality of the patches, and they arrived quickly. They are exactly as described and pictured, and you can see and feel they are well made.
