When I started making jewelry I told you about my Mom being in the hospital and the first piece I made was for her. What I didn't tell you was, I carried all my supplies around in a small can. I got the can before I was married. My husband, then boyfriend, sent it to me for my birthday and it was full of popcorn. I love popcorn!!! I soon got too many suppies for my tin can so I got a small plastic box with a flip top lid. When I first started buying my supplies I would buy them at local craft stores like Michaels, AC Moore, and JoAnn's. That was okay for a while but when I was going to re-sell my goods these places were not enough for me because I wanted the "good" stuff. Sterling silver, better glass beads, Swarovski Crystal and nice stringing wire. Not to mention decent tools to work with. Now a days you can get these things at some of those stores but back just a few years ago you couldn't. So, on-line shopping it was, artbeads, bluemud and so on and so on. Need less to say my small plastic box was not enough for long, it grew to 2 very quickly and then three. By this time I was taking care of Dad after Mom's passing, so I would cart those containers around every- where. Our son was now out of college and informed us he was moving. The day he moved out, I moved in. Into his bedroom that is, haha. My poor husband was shocked. He said, "We didn't even discuss it". I said what's to discuss, you don't want my stuff all over the house so now it's not. He shook his head and walked away knowing he had lost another one. Our oldest daughter moved out shortly after that. Her room was bigger so I set my sights on her old room but it needed painting. I chose lilac and green paint, and I can see your faces now, but it looks really pretty. I will post a photo soon. I finished the room and moved in. Now I had two desks and all this wall space a tv a huge closet. A creator's dream space, and create I did. I now have 4 rolling carts with 6 drawers each. In each drawer I placed a plastic craft organizer. I also used to be a dental assistant and I worked for an orthodontist. The little brackets that we glued to the teeth came in small containers with about 32 compartments so I had saved lots of those for who knows what. Now I know what. They were perfect for these little beads, especially the crystals. Two of these fit on top of the craft organizer in each drawer and I had enough for all of the 6 drawers in each of the 4 carts. Wow that's a lot of beads!
