Hello all! I've been working as a photographer for 25 years and I shoot a ton of Kansas basketball. I also really love to make things out of wood. I've built cabinets and even a back porch out of cedar. These pre-trigger remote cords are probably the smallest-scale item I've ever made but they've been a lot of fun. I started making them because I feel like every other system I've tried just wasn't comfortable with the way I like to shoot or had too many points of failure to make the cord last. So, I've spent way too much time thinking about how I could make something that is functional, unique, adaptable and kinda cool. I shape the button housing from pieces of maple, walnut, acacia or pine that I have in my shop and they follow the contour of a mid-range zoom lens and attach via an adjustable strap. You can move the button anywhere along the strap that is comfortable for you. Also, they come with a male mono plug for operating with Pocket Wizards and other remote systems. Let me know what you think.

I've been shooting sports for about 25 years & I started making remote cords with small buttons in wood casings because I'm picky about how my gear works and I really like to make functional things that help me be better at my job.
