When caring for wood, a primary concern is water damage—no finish is ever completely waterproof. It is also important to protect wood pieces from sudden changes in temperature or humidity, which can cause cracking or warping. Keep wood away from heat sources and the bleaching and drying effects of direct sunlight. In the most humid climates, mould may pose a secondary threat. In this case, regulate indoor humidity and keep objects from direct contact with the floor. A feather duster brushed over the carved wood is gentle enough to cause no harm to the antique while removing dust over the entire surface.

Due to the handmade nature of our items, small variations in size, colour, shape, pattern, or other characteristics may be evident. Each piece should be considered as a truly unique work of art, lovingly crafted by hand. The natural quality of the wood in this piece is showcased by the care put into carving it. Each piece is finished individually, creating a truly unique work of art.

At our company, we understand that sometimes an item may not meet your needs or expectations. If this is the case, please let us know and we will assist you with a return. For items returned due to a change of mind or any other reason, as long as the item is in its original condition and has no physical damage, we will process a refund minus any packing and shipping costs incurred. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us and ensuring that it is packaged properly. Once we receive the item, we will issue a refund. In case of damaged items, please inform us immediately and provide photos of the damage. We will then process a full refund or send a replacement item.

As all of our items are hand made there may be slight variations in sizes given. However, we will ensure this is as minimal as possible.
