My name is Jonas, I’m a software developer from Berlin – and for years I’ve been fascinated by the world of 3D printing. What began as a passion alongside my profession has grown into a heartfelt project: turning digital designs into tangible sculptures that combine strength, symbolism, and aesthetics.
With the help of modern 3D-printing technology, we at Filament & Form create sculptures that look as if they were cast in solid bronze – yet are crafted far more affordably and sustainably. Each figure is built layer by layer in our Berlin studio, then hand-finished and filled with plaster. The result is a surprisingly solid artwork that convinces both in appearance and feel.
What makes them special: every sculpture is one of a kind. Small variations in surface and color are not flaws but part of the handcrafted process – giving each figure its own character and soul.
My mission: to make art accessible to everyone – without compromising on impact or symbolism. Through modern fabrication, it’s possible to create works that are affordable, sustainable, and full of expression.

What sets Filament & Form apart from other 3D printing shops?
- Only Original Designs: Each sculpture is an original that we design ourselves using 3D modeling software. You won’t find our sculptures anywhere else.
- Premium Feel with Plaster Filling: The nearly hollow figures are filled with plaster after printing, giving them a surprisingly high weight and solid presence, much like a massive sculpture.
- High-Quality Surface: We do everything we can to minimize the imperfections that arise from 3D printing. You can only tell it’s a 3D-printed object from a very close distance.
