The bright world within ourselves
Within each eye blink there seems to exist a reality we normally have no notion about. It is colorful and agile, simple yet complex, calming yet exciting. Before our eyes at any time but still often let unseen.
It is the inspiration of this inner sphere of reality that most drives me.
From my childhood I have been enrolled in many craft classes and art schools and this means of expression was the only thing that popped into mind when I started thinking about the one thing I would enjoy doing every day for the rest of my life.
On the other hand, it was this kind of thinking that got me craving for the "right way" to draw or paint something. It took me some time to realize how this was vampirizing my passion and magic. It was time for a reality check!
So I sat down and mindfully forgot all I have been taught about art to that point. Realizing the one and only entity I should perform for is my own soul, I grabbed a brush and a tube of paint and the style I now thrive in was born.
What my soul cares about is not the perfect duplication of everyday reality but rather the colors themselves, those vivid frequencies of light, and the simplest shapes, the beauty of a circle or a spiral.
Being loyal to my own magic also spoke to people whom I have shown my work. Realizing what I like doing most is for others the most enjoyable and valuable to look upon further encouraged me to put my art out for the global community.
