I’ve been painting and sculpting since I was a child, alternating between the two and not quite settling in a fixed style for long time, but never being able to quit either. A day without art is still only half a day for me.


Spirituality, poetry and beloved narrative are very often a source of inspiration for me, and this often brings me the urge to move in ‘thematic cycles’ in my work - right now the heart, as source of our ability to love and to live with authenticity, is the symbol that calls me more strongly to explore it. As a visual artist, I work mainly in chalk pastels- and I am very fond of a surreal style, although I do flirt with pop art vibes and I have a fascination with the art of the portrait.

As a sculptor I work in polymer clay, crafting jewelry, the occasional bust and mostly wall hanging sculptures. I do love paint over my works in brilliant acrylics and nuancing with glitter paint. Flowers, animals and mythology remain in this field my major source of inspiration.

Designing inspirational mugs and shirts derived from my paintings is a guilty pleasure born of my love for photo manipulation.
