5 out of 5 starsThe more I used it the better I got at mixing and using it without wasting it. Worked great for foam filling duck and goose decoys.

What temperature should it be to use the Lifeboat Pour Foam?
We recommend the minimum temperature to be at or above 72 F. For best results it should be above 75 F. Humidity can play a factor if it is too high and the lower the humidity the easier it will be for the product to expand and achieve the desired results.
What is the expansion rate of the 2 pound density Lifeboat Pour Foam? How much can I mix at one time?
The expansion rate for each total quart mixed (1 pint A and 1 pint B) you will get 1 cubic foot of expansion. 1 gallon kits will expand to 4 cubic feet, 2 gallon kits 8 cubic feet.
For mixing, we recommend not doing more than 1 quart of each side at time. This also depends on the areas you are filling as well, do your best to estimate the total cubic feet of space to be filled and start with a smaller amount of product than required. While you can easily trim any excess expanded foam after it has cured, not having to trim is excellent. If there any holes that go into areas you don't want to be filled, taping off those areas or putting blocking to prevent the liquid from expanding into those areas is recommended.
