I made this into a full lap quilt. It was really fun to make. The only thing I didn’t like was the cassettes didn’t have the 1/4 inch seam allowance built into the patterns. All the other patterns I’ve used have had that so it took me a minute to figure out how to make it work.

Great detailed pattern that comes with bonus projects to make. The cassette zipper pouch turned out great.

As a confident beginner (sewing), but baby beginner in the quilting world with no experience with paper piercing-- this pattern is manageable. The hardest part of the entire process is cutting the fabric and adding the seam allowance. I feel like it should have been included in the pieces. It would have sped up the entire process (I unfortunately dont have a sewing gauge, but imagine that would have helped greatly). I copied another person who completed this at 300% and went that route because I wanted to make a full/queen size blanket. I can only imagine how much longer this would have taken me if I did it at 100% dealing with a bunch of tiny pieces. Piecing: the hardest part were the arrows on the controller pad.
