Artem customized it exactly as I requested, including the 1-inch thickness and rounded corners, and the finish is beautiful. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and he was always kind and responsive to my questions. The shelf feels sturdy, was easy to install, and fits perfectly in my space. Can I order a custom size?
Yes! Send us the length and depth you need, your preferred finish, and a photo or sketch if helpful. We’ll confirm the details and price before you order. For corner shelves, please include the wall angle if it differs from 90 degrees.
Which mounting option should I choose?
Choose the mounting option that matches your wall: drywall or solid masonry, such as concrete or solid brick. The shelf is prepared for the selected mounting system, so these options are not interchangeable without modifying the shelf. If you’re unsure, message us before ordering.
Can I install the shelf on drywall?
For drywall installations, the mounting points must align with suitable wall studs. Please check your stud positions before ordering and send us the measurements if you need help confirming compatibility. Do not rely on the plasterboard alone to support the shelf.
Are mounting hardware and instructions included?
Yes, the mounting hardware for your selected wall type is included. We also provide installation instructions and can help if you have questions. Please confirm your wall type before ordering so we can prepare the correct mounting system.
How much weight can the shelf hold?
Load capacity depends on the shelf’s size, wall construction, mounting system, and installation. Send us your wall type, shelf dimensions, and what you plan to place on it so we can advise on suitability. We do not give one universal weight limit for every size and wall type.
Will the wood and finish look exactly like the photos?
Each shelf is made from natural solid oak, so grain, knots, and colour vary. Live edge shelves also vary in their edge shape. Lighting and screen settings can affect how finishes appear. Please use our labelled colour samples when choosing your finish; an exact match to a photo or existing furniture cannot be guaranteed.
Where do you ship from, and when will my order arrive?
Our shelves ship from Ukraine. Please check the estimated delivery window shown on the listing for your destination. Tracking is provided after dispatch. Custom orders may require additional preparation time, which we’ll confirm before purchase.
What should I do if my shelf arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us through Etsy as soon as you notice a problem. Include your order number and clear photos of the shelf, packaging, shipping label, and any damage. Keep the packaging while we review the issue so we can help resolve it.
How do I care for my oak shelf?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface immediately. Avoid standing water, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged direct heat. Contact us before applying any maintenance oil or other treatment so we can advise based on your finish.
