I started an Etsy shop when I realized I was making way more art than I had room for. I could fill a whole real life store at this point. Please buy something so I have room to sit down.

I grew up in a military family with five kids. That meant we were always short on cash but big on imagination. Cardboard boxes became backyard trains, scrap paper became masks, paper bags became puppets, and pieces of leftover fabric became doll clothes.

I learned to crochet at my mother's side when I was a mere babe, then at 14 I learned to knit from my dad who not only knitted his golf club covers, but then knitted my mom a pink bikini!

I spent a whole extra year in college so I could study more art including painting, art history, fashion illustration, pottery and theater arts.
In college I also joined the Society for Creative Anachronism and they inspired me to study illumination, fashion history, archery and weaving.

The last thing I made was a crocheted fish.
