Practicing Democracy

After the 2016 presidential election, Practicing Democracy printed Women’s March postcards to GET PEOPLE INTO THE STREETS. Starting with the Women's March postcard--as a way to PRACTICE democracy. Postcards for other social issues, such as Love Is Love, included information to resist the current politically conservative backlash. Thousands of postcards were distributed to various groups, organizations, and students at/for various rallies, demonstrations, and postcard writing campaigns. 2017 has been a long and exhausting year of activism, but we cannot stop the pressure. Practicing Democracy’s goal is to continue to get people OUT INTO THE STREETS in 2018 and beyond!!! See you there!
