Hello! I'm Marissa. After graduating from the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, CA, I set out to create environments that are simultaneously comfortable, functional, and beautiful.

My path has allowed me to cross nearly every corner of the building and design industry. I've brought technical proficiency to high-end residential estates, commercial restaurants, and functional grocery spaces. Along the way, my time handling complex bidding, estimating, and technical specifications in the metal roofing manufacturing industry gave me a unique, practical edge. Because I am proficient in AutoCAD, detailed specifications and precision are at the heart of everything I do.

But I also love the art of the find. As a seasoned buyer and merchandiser managing home decor curation for a family-owned market, I’ve honed my ability to source high-quality pieces that perfectly balance style and affordability.

I wanted to use this collective knowledge to bring a more accessible feature to the design world. These pre-made, shoppable mood boards are designed so that anyone can confidently design, shop, and love their own space affordably.
