Hi!
I am Luca, 26 years old, founder of SlabDex – and above all a passionate TCG collector.
I've long wondered why most Pokémon and trading card accessories come from the USA or Asia. The TCG community in Europe – especially in Germany – is large, active, and demanding. Despite this, there have been very few products developed here that are truly tailored to collectors.
This question led to an idea.
And that idea became SlabDex.
The original plan was to initially act as a kind of wholesaler, supplying products to the market. In practice, however, it quickly became apparent that this approach was too slow – and too far removed from what's important to me: direct contact with the community.
That's why I consciously decided to target SlabDex directly at end customers.
The starting signal was given with a deliberately unconventional product: the SlabDex S100 Slab Case. No wide range of products, no rushed job – but a case that solves a real problem: secure, well-designed and durable storage for graded slabs and trading cards.
Made in Germany is not a marketing label, but a conscious decision for quality, control and reliability.
SlabDex is still in its very early stages – and that's exactly how it should be.
The S100 is just the beginning; the product range will be expanded step by step. Every new product should meet the same standard: practical, high-quality, and designed from a collector's perspective.
Since I'm studying marketing, this knowledge directly informs the development of SlabDex. Accordingly, you'll see me and the project regularly on Instagram – transparent, approachable, and engaging with the community. The fact that we've already gained over 1,000 followers there in less than two weeks confirms for me that this direct approach is exactly the right one.
SlabDex is not an anonymous shop.
It's a project from the community – for the community.
Hi!
