Handcrafted Jewelry of Silver, Gold, Pearls and Stones

My jewelry workbench, where my jewelry designs are created & hammering, filing, sawing, fitting, and drilling are done.
20-ton press and some of the jewelry I have created using it.
Durston Rolling Mill and some handmade paper on my heavy duty tools workbench.
Soldering station complete with vent hood to draw out toxic fumes. It's a little messy & pretty much stays that way.

I design and create sterling silver jewelry accented with stones, pearls, gold and mokume gane.

I started out doing beaded work, but was always looking for a nice pendant to go with my beaded necklaces. Those were hard to find, so I took a number silversmithing classes at the local college and found out that I love handcrafting my own sterling silver jewelry. I also love stones and use a lot of different stones in the pendants and earrings I make. I often use a 20-ton press to dome my silver. I also use a rolling mill with handmade paper and brass texture sheets to add a texture to my sterling silver. Hence the name "Textured Metal Designs".
