My Love For Shells
Ever since I could remember, I have always been intrigued with shells! As a child, growing up in Pennsylvania, my family vacationed in New Jersey, I was the child scouring the beach for shells to take home for my shell collection.
As an adult visiting Sanibel Island in Florida, known for shells, I was in shell heaven!!
I collected and bleached uninhabited shells to take home with me as mementos from my trip and display them in my home.
Recently (July 2023) I saw a gorgeous shell in a gift shop on Cape Cod. I learned that it was something called decoupage that gave the shell its beautiful decorative effect. I knew I had to learn the process and so it began! I have since become obsessed with creating these gorgeous shells. I will sit for hours pouring my love for shells into each and every creation.
I now live part time on Cape Cod and have sourced my shells directly from Cape Cods local fisherman. I know you will enjoy your purchase for years to come!
