Samurai Armor (Basic)

This is for a complete suit of Standard Samurai inspired leather armor inspired by the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
These suits feature streamlined Sode (Pauldrons), and feature a Do (Cuirass) with larger plates, including a large central plate suitable for custom art to be engraved.

These pieces are individual, unique pieces of wearable art, even before getting into the weeds of what is possible in terms of custom stamping, tooling, engraving. For a truly ephemeral piece please don't hesitate to contact me, and we can conjure up something truly ephemeral, and unique for any potential need. Event, Cosplay, Collectible, Wedding, etc.

Each suit is hand made from top quality hand selected vegetable tanned leather. I use 7-9oz as standard for the armored sections
and I use garment weight for the Kote (Sleeves/hands), Haidate (Thighs), and Suneate (shins)

There are potentially infinite options from color of lace, leather dye, and embellishments.

This suit will include

8 plate Kabuto(helm),& Mempo(face) w/ throat,

Do w/Kusazuri (Torso/hips),

Sode(Shoulders)

Kote w/tekko (Arms & hands),

Haidate(Thighs), Suneate(Shins)


This armor is completed with a series of smaller plates, which are grooved/finished. Plate body, and highlight color are visible in the dropdown menu. If you have a particular color in mind, message me to see if it is available.


Lacing is done in flat nylon, and typically has 2 colors, the main color, often black, but can be whatever colors (availability depending), and a "highlight" color often a gold/yellow. Options are limited for streamlining purposes if you have particular needs/wants/desires don't hesitate to reach out.

The Suneate, and Forearms are done in the iconic Shino, or splints.

The Tehen no Kanamono the brass top of the Kabuto is included.
