Handmade pottery mug in white and blue with appealing texture.

I threw this piece of pottery on a wheel with clay in my studio in Virginia. I applied thin porcelain that left drip marks on the mug before it was glazed. The result is a mug with texture -- you can feel where the porcelain dripped. The very bottom of the mug is unglazed, leaving a more rugged texture that contrasts with the porcelain.

It is glazed in a white and blue combination with some grey hues.

It is about 4.5 inches tall and holds 14 ounces of liquid.
