I painted the dresser top as faux marble.Inside drawers there are existing liners and previous paint splashes. Existing holes around the pulls which are not visible from outside of drawers.
Everything in my shop has been up-cycled and previously owned. Once, I find them, they become my own babies. With love and attention, I make them desirable again. Please expect some imperfections. I am working out of my garage in Wine Country, Santa Rosa, CA., and inspired by French Country/Provincial styles and Annie Sloan. My goal is to make everything in my shop unique for you with hand painted floral or application of Gold leaves. And depend on the theme, sometimes, I use stencils to give them that rare character.
I use chalk paint, Annie Sloan clear and antique wax, Polyurethane, acrylic paint, and gilding wax. On the bigger items, I use organic Hemp seed oil to clean or Murphy oil to naturally varnish inside the drawers and cabinets. Visible brush strokes and highlights created by the wax add to my babies’ beauty and make them closer to the French country/provincial style. The gilding wax applied by hand and aren't in straight or regular lines. You can feel the floral painting under your fingers when you touch them. Sometimes, there are residual organic Hemp seed oil odor where was applied.
Please use soft dry cloth to remove dusts. It's not advised to use or rub damp cloths. Clear wax can be applied yearly.
