Patchwork, Patchwork Blanket, Overlay, Picnic Blanket

Patchwork ceiling, dimensions 150 X 150 cm, made of a so-called Jelly Roll. In the process, colourful strips of fabric are sewn together, cut to the desired length and sewn back together. This process is repeated several times. The pattern formation is therefore purely random, the size of the finished ceiling can only be influenced insignificantly.

For this ceiling I have mainly selected batik fabrics, the squares in turquoise loosen up the stripe pattern. The ceiling is sewn with the machine and also machine quilted.

Top and bottom are made of cotton fabric, in between there is a thin layer of polyester fleece. The ceiling is well suited as a cover for a couch or armchair. Or would you rather have a picnic in the countryside?

The ceiling can be cleaned in the washing machine, I recommend the use of a laundry net.
