Hello......My name is Linda and I retired to a place people call "The Door" after raising my family and fulfilling my career in the populated area around Milwaukee WI .Door County WI is a bit of paradise surrounded by the waters of Lake Michigan and populated by artists, musicians and seasonal tourists. I look out my door to see Sugar Maples and White Paper Birch, Hemlocks and Oak. The spring woodland floor is carpeted with an unlimited variety of wild flowers only to be replaced come summer by song birds and tourists. In the fall a pallet of color paints the northern woods before it's covered by a soft blanket of white crystal snow. This is the perfect place for a fiberphile like me to use my passion for knitting and a great pattern to create a unique product. And it's useful to boot. How lucky can a woman be!!!!
