What are your plants made of?

Many different materials, however almost all of them are made from different types of paper and floral wire. These papers are hand colored, painted and shaped to create the petals and leaves.

How long does it take to make them/why are some of them so expensive?

This varies significantly. I think the longest I've spent on a plant was at least 20 hours. The shortest length of time was probably around 2 hours. Since they are handmade and each takes a lot of time to create the cost often reflects this. Painting, dyeing, shaping, and cutting are all done by hand to create each plant or flower.
