This is a very good product for the price. The suction cup needs a smooth surface, which may be a different surface (next tile over). It is easy to elongate holes, saw/cut/drill off just a bit more. (make quarter moons) The outside diameter grit of the saw is good for dressing edges too. I used scrap wood backing board under the tile, outside workbench,. I have not tried to use any diameter saw without the jig. (twist and skip off?).

Nice spikes! Smaller than I expected but that's honestly my bad.
