I lived in a beautiful log cabin as a young'n, owned previously by a blacksmith. When I moved, the set of fire tools made by the previous owner went with me. They meant a lot to me. However, many years later, I lost them in a difficult divorce. At the moment I felt the loss of the keepsake fire tools, I immediately thought, "it is ok, I will make my own, I don't need them". Thats kind of how I go about life, making things happen somehow, even if it is pure stubbornness, brute force, fire and a lot of hammer blows.
