Welcome to Ink And Ocean Botanicals. A range of vegan handcrafted plant based, alcohol free, artisan perfume and apothecary range with absolutely no synthetic or animal derivatives. Ranges include natural plant wax candles, botanical perfumes, massage oils and handmade incense. I am a qualified aromatherapist, flower essence practitioner and a natural perfumer. All of my products are mindfully made in small batches or made to order using ethically sourced, wildcrafted and organic plant materials.

5 out of 5 starsI’m editing this review because I forgot to mention the incredible free gift and it was one of the unguents that I wanted to try for myself but had sold out and I was a little heartbroken, so many many extra thanks. Back to the review - I had bought this beautiful Dianthus enfleurage as a 1 ml a while back and really missed it when it was gone, so bought a 5 ml this time. It feels so romantic and dreamy, a very uplifting but subtle summer scent. One of the nicest single floral aromas. Beautifully packaged as usual and even though I ordered so late, astonishingly arrived before Christmas. 💝

5 out of 5 starsThe most beautiful rich and mysterious scent captured in a buttery cream, so wonderful to use. The scent is warm vanilla with a fresh hint of rose and orange with a deep resinous base. Very magical, there is something special about it as this form of scent is where the art of perfumery has its roots. Application is a decadent ritual in itself and very comforting and the scent lasts for some hours, wafting occasionally without overpowering. Highly recommend!

I am happy to have found scents that not only work for me but also the fellas in my house. Husband and Son both use Bookist and Strange Woods. We like island muse and I love tea ceremony! We all smell amazing and best of all no headaches! Truly great find.

What is your return policy?
For health and hygiene reasons, perfumes, oils and facial products and custom or made to order are non returnable.
For other items, due to the nature of the products, and for hygiene and quality, only unopened and unused products with original packaging may be returned.
Conditions of return.
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Shipping costs will NOT be refunded. Please provide proof of posting.
If your order is returned back due to the courier making delivery attempts and no one is there to receive the parcel, then customer pays for re-delivery.

Are your perfumes natural?
Yes every item in my shop, including all my perfumes are 100% natural, vegan and plants based. I do not even use natural isolates.
Are your perfumes long lasting?
My perfumes are highly concentrated, some similar to attars, but silage depends on the alchemy between the botanical ingredients and your body temperature. Therefore it can vary from person to person. Some have commented it can last for days, and the same perfume can last a few hours on others.
What about sensitive skin?
My products are plant based and completely natural, however if you have sensitive skin, its always advisable to do a small patch test prior to use. If you have an allergy to a certain plant or essential oil, please read the ingredients on the product description and contact me if you are unsure.
