I got into 3d printing about 2021. How? A printer was given to me to fix. I can create in CAD and have always kept my skills up. However I had to learn how to use new software, when I had time.

This brought about the Etsy Store and J Mack Design

The Can-A-Bit and Cann-a-bud came from work and friends. One of my co-workers was carrying around driver bits in a snuff can with a bit of foam in it. We chuckled about it and the wheels started turning. With each new version, it just got better. I carry mine in the leather holster every day at work. Even had it with me when helping work on flooring project. It has some great potential.

As for the pots and plant habitats. I have a plant/pot problem. Our poor house doesn't have the window space for all the plants, as well as sits wrong with the world most of the growing season. My wife doesn't have a green thumb and encourages it, to a point. So I've created habitats for plants. Pots are fun, as they add color and shape to sometimes boring terra.

In closing, I'm always looking for ways to stretch my designs, my head is filled with lots of ideas. Often it's a matter of balancing family, work and life.
