¡Hola! Soy Jess. La artista detrás de todo lo que hacemos aquí en J. R. Field Studio.
Un poco sobre mí. Soy originaria de Michigan y estudié ilustración en la Northern Michigan University. Desde entonces, he vivido por todo Estados Unidos, desde Kansas hasta Hawái, desde Carolina del Norte hasta Alabama. Viajar, experimentar cosas nuevas, escuchar nuevas historias y explorar este maravilloso mundo es una de mis pasiones. Siempre busco la belleza en las cosas y las interacciones cotidianas que a veces damos por sentado, así como también me asombran las maravillas naturales y culturales que nos rodean. Hay tanto que ver, oír, saborear, aprender y explorar si nos abrimos a ello.
Como podrás adivinar por mis obras de arte, me inspiro mucho en el mundo natural. Las plantas, los animales y los paisajes son mis mayores musas, intercalados con toques de fantasía. Además del arte que creo por mi cuenta, también hago trabajos para clientes. Logotipos, ilustraciones, diseños de tatuajes y joyas personalizados y pinturas por encargo son parte de mi repertorio, así como el diseño floral profesional. Simplemente disfruto del proceso de contar historias y hacer cosas que toquen la vida de los demás.

Hi! I'm Jess! The artist behind everything here at J. R. Field Studio.
A bit about me. Originally from Michigan, I studied illustration at Northern Michigan University. Since then I've lived all over the US from Kansas to Hawaii, North Carolina to Alabama. Travelling, experiencing new things, hearing new stories, and exploring this amazing world of ours is a love of mine. I'm always looking for the beauty in everyday things and interactions that we sometimes take for granted as well as being awed by the natural and cultural wonders all around us. There is so much to see, hear, taste, learn, and explore if we just open ourselves to it.
As you may be able to guess from my artwork, I'm heavily inspired by the natural world. Plants, animals, and landscapes are my greatest muses interspersed with bits of whimsy and dollops of fantasy. On top of the self-directed art I create, I also do work for clients. Logos, illustrations, custom tattoo and jewelry designs, and commissioned paintings are all a part of my repertoire as well as professional floral design. I simply enjoy the process of telling stories and making things that touch the lives of others.
