Lenssen Way began as way to stop my sister from badgering me
Je n’ai jamais été sûre de ce que je voulais faire de ma vie à part être maman. J’ai un baccalauréat, une entreprise de nettoyage, un mari et maintenant 3 jeunes enfants. J’ai enseigné le yoga, j’ai fait partie du personnel d’un ministère sur le campus et j’ai toujours touché à l’artisanat, mais je n’ai jamais vraiment trouvé mon créneau. Après que j’ai fait quelque chose, ma sœur me suggérait toujours de « le vendre sur Etsy ». Eh bien, après environ un an après l’avoir entendue me dire cela, j’ai finalement dit: « OK! JE VAIS! JE LE FERAI! » .... et Lenssen Way est née, principalement pour la faire sortir de mon dos. Après avoir obtenu mes 10 premières ventes environ, j’ai réalisé que les gens s’intéressaient réellement aux choses que je fabriquais !! C’est à ce moment-là que j’ai commencé à élargir ma gamme de produits et à transférer mes efforts de toutes les autres choses dans mon assiette à Lenssen Way. Je suis tellement contente de l’avoir fait, et je suis tellement reconnaissante pour ceux qui ont choisi ma boutique. Je suis capable d’investir davantage dans mes enfants ET de faire des choses qui font que les gens se sentent beaux.
I've never been sure of what I wanted to do with my life other than be a mom. I have a bachelors degree, a cleaning business, a husband, and now 3 young children. I've taught yoga, been on staff with a campus ministry, and I've always dabbled in crafts, but never really found my niche. After I would make something, my sister would always make the suggestion to "sell it on Etsy." Well after a year or so of hearing her tell me that, I finally said, "OK! I WILL! I WILL!" .... and Lenssen Way was born, mainly to get her off my back. After getting my first 10 sales or so, I realized people actually had an interest in the things I was making!! That's when I started to expand my product line and transition my efforts from all the other things on my plate to Lenssen Way. I'm so glad I did, and I'm so thankful for those who choose my shop. I'm able to invest in my kids more AND make things that make people feel beautiful.
