5 out of 5 starsA great project for experienced blackwork fans - a detailed pattern with a lot of variation in different sections to keep things fun. The end result is visually stunning. The PDF pattern offers both a single full chart view and split up by pages, and is easy to read and accurate. Uses backstitch (although I frequently used Holbein for a smoother result) and stem stitch. It’s all full stitches, no half stitches. My only mild criticism is that this pattern is light on instructions - it assumes you know how to do the stitch types etc. My photo is stitched on 28ct “blue spruce” linen.
