There is a fading affect that I didn't really realize when purchasing, but when I went back to see if it was a defect you can see it in the listed pictures. Make sure you turn up your display brightness so you can see how much intentional fading is on the canvas. I would have preferred pure black, but it's my fault for not noticing in the pictures.
