From the walls of my room to your space: how PosterUp was born.
Het begon allemaal in mijn kamer. Ik heb altijd geloofd dat de muren van een slaapkamer of studio niet zomaar lege doeken moeten zijn, maar juist een weerspiegeling van wat we liefhebben: onze passies, streetwear, de esthetiek van auto's en de precisie van geweldig design.
Maar als ik op zoek ging naar posters voor mezelf, vond ik altijd dezelfde oude, saaie, goedkope of moeilijk verkrijgbare prints die je met de juiste lijst kon ophangen. Dus besloot ik ze zelf te maken.
Ik begon ogenschijnlijk verschillende werelden samen te voegen: de brute kracht en aerodynamische lijnen van iconische supercars zoals de Pagani, de geometrische strengheid van het Bauhaus en de kleurrijke explosie van moderne kunst. Ik wilde iets minimalistisch, strak en indrukwekkends creëren.
Als vrienden mijn kamer binnenkwamen en de schilderijen zagen hangen, was de vraag altijd hetzelfde: "Waar heb je die vandaan? Ik wil er ook één."
Daar is de vonk overgeslagen en is PosterUp geboren.
Tegenwoordig is deze winkel mijn digitale laboratorium. Ik selecteer, bewerk en stel elk kunstwerk in op 300 DPI voor een ongelooflijke scherpte. Voor wie maximaal gemak wil, bied ik fysieke posters aan, gedrukt op hoogwaardig papier en reeds ingelijst (hout, zwart of wit), klaar om op te hangen. Voor degenen die van doe-het-zelfprojecten houden of aan de andere kant van de wereld wonen, bied ik de bestanden aan als directe digitale download.

It all started in my room. I've always believed that the walls of a bedroom or studio shouldn't just be blank canvases, but rather a reflection of what we love: our passions, streetwear, the aesthetics of motorsports, and the precision of great design.
Whenever I looked for posters for myself, however, I always found the same old, low-quality, or hard-to-find prints ready to hang with the right frame. So I decided to make them myself.
I began to unite seemingly disparate worlds: the brutal power and aerodynamic lines of iconic supercars like the Pagani, the geometric rigor of Bauhaus, and the explosion of color of modern art. I wanted to create something minimal, clean, and impactful.
When friends came into my room and saw the paintings hanging, the question was always the same: "Where did you get those? I want one too."
That was where the spark was born, and PosterUp was born.
Today, this shop is my digital laboratory. I select, curate, and set each individual artwork at 300 DPI to ensure incredible definition.
