SilkYool is ontstaan uit mijn liefde voor prachtige stoffen, delicate texturen en betekenisvolle handgemaakte items. Als kind was ik omringd door bekwame ambachtslieden en tijdloze tradities. Het zien hoe mijn oma met liefde naaide en creëerde, inspireerde me om zelf te gaan knutselen.
Elk stuk in deze winkel is met zorg, ziel en intentie gemaakt. Ik geloof in slow creation – in items die emotie, cultuur en individualiteit uitstralen. Hier vind je unieke zijden accessoires, woonaccessoires en cadeaus die warmte en schoonheid in je leven brengen.

Over losse draden op het tapijt:
Soms zie je misschien een paar draadjes of kleine lusjes uit de pool van het tapijt steken. Dit is normaal bij handgemaakte en handgeknoopte tapijten en betekent niet dat het tapijt defect is.
• Trek niet aan de draden, dit kan de knopen beschadigen.
• Knip ze in plaats daarvan voorzichtig bij met een klein schaartje, zodat ze gelijk liggen met de omliggende pool.
• Als het een klein lusje is, kun je het ook voorzichtig met een naald terug in het kleed stoppen.
Dit is een gebruikelijk onderdeel van het onderhouden van tapijten, vooral bij handgemaakte stukken, en het heeft geen invloed op de duurzaamheid of schoonheid van uw tapijt.

About loose threads on the rug:
Sometimes you may notice a few threads or small loops sticking up from the rug pile. This is normal for handmade and hand-knotted rugs and does not mean the rug is defective.
• Please do not pull the threads, as this can damage the knots.
• Instead, simply trim them carefully with small scissors so that they are even with the surrounding pile.
• If it is a small loop, you can also tuck it back gently into the rug with a needle.
This is a common part of rug maintenance, especially for handmade pieces, and it will not affect the durability or beauty of your rug.
