Astronomy guides, planners and skywatching merch from the creator of SkyCalPro
I’m Kev, the creator of SkyCalPro, an astronomy website built to answer a simple question: what’s happening in the sky, and when can I see it?
SkyCalPro grew out of my interest in astronomy, spaceflight and making astronomical information genuinely useful. I spend a lot of time working with orbital and astronomical data, calculating events such as International Space Station passes, Moon events, eclipses, planetary phenomena and other things worth looking up for.
This shop is an extension of that work into print and is a nice way to support the site if you like the content there.
My first products are ISS calendars and guides, designed to give people a useful picture of when the International Space Station is likely to be visible rather than just a collection of space photographs. Predicting the ISS a long way ahead is an interesting problem because its orbit changes throughout the year, so I’ve put a lot of work into understanding which future observing windows remain useful even when exact pass times cannot yet be known.
I’ll also be adding other astronomy calendars, guides and merchandise based around the night sky, spaceflight and the astronomical events I already cover through SkyCalPro.
The aim is the same for everything I make: accurate astronomy, clearly presented, and something that makes you want to go outside and look up.
You can find the astronomy behind the shop at SkyCalPro.com.
