2mm Plexiglass is needed and is available at most hardware stores. The length depends on the size of your CNC. Width is usually 12 to 16 in for most machines. Using a scoring knife and a strait edge works beautifully.

The X Axis fits a 2.25 inch sheet of plexiglass behind the Z block. I have versions for both X-35 and X-50.

The Y Axis max height will depend on your setup. Machines that use stall homing will be limited to the height of the bottom of the Z Block . If your machines has limit switches you can adjust and go full height.

Adjusting X-axis machine limits in software is another way of making room for a dust boot or making the barrier as tall as possible.

Can be used on both sides of Y rails if needed.
