All Emmifaye items are created in a smoke and pet free home studio.

All fabrics are washed and dried to prevent shrinkage. Caring for your hat: wash with like colors and hang dry for best results.

Emmifaye hats are a snug fit that tie close below the chin. I use a variety of fabrics including cotton lyrca, organic cotton, cotton interlock, lace, sweater knits, and mesh. Please consider the following information in making your selection:
- Cotton Lycra has a four way stretch with a medium weight
- Organic cotton interlock is a two way stretch (less stretchy) with a medium to heavy weight, so some order up a size.
- Cotton interlock is more stretchy than the organic fabric, with a medium weight.
- Lace hats have a two way stretch, made of a lightweight poly blend.
- Sweater knits which is thicker fabric is nicer for the cooler months. It has a two way stretch which tend to fit a little smaller (some order up a size).
- Mesh hats (all mesh) nice four way stretch and light weight fabric.
- Knit with mesh panels are not as stretchy. I cut these a generously, no reason to up size these.
