CONCHAS:
Encontrada en las playas de mi ciudad natal en Long Island, Nueva York, a lo largo de las vastas y hermosas costas de Florida, o en cada rincón de mi casa, cada concha de esta colección es seleccionada a mano por mí o por un ser querido. La selección y la colección se basan en una cuidadosa consideración de su textura, forma y color. Las conchas más complementarias entre sí se reúnen, clasifican y organizan en las formas abstractas que pueblan esta colección. Todo el proceso es completamente espontáneo; los arreglos aquí son impulsivos, improvisados y completamente únicos. No hay dos arreglos que se vean iguales. Cada concha seleccionada tiene su propia sensación, y su propio carácter, y el flujo y reflujo natural que crean, juntos, es la ola que guía mi mano.

Found either on the beaches of my hometown in Long Island, New York, along the vast, beautiful shores of Florida, or in every nook and cranny of my home, every shell in this collection is hand-picked by either me or a loved one. Selection and collection is based on a careful consideration of their texture, shape, and color. The shells most complimentary to one another are then gathered, sorted, and arranged into the abstract shapes that populate this collection. The whole process is completely spontaneous; the arrangements here are impulsive, improvised, and entirely unique. No two arrangements will ever look the same. Every shell selected has its own feel, and its own character, and the natural ebb and flow that they create, together, is the wave that guides my hand.
