This was my first attempt at crocheting a wearable item other than a hat, and I found the pattern easy to follow and really helpful as an introduction to how to construct garments using crochet. I did tweak it a bit to achieve the fit I was looking for, but the base shape you create in the pattern was perfect for building from. It also worked up quickly and made a cozy pair of shorties for lounging. I used a Caron Blossom Cake in Tidepool and a 5mm hook.
