Making garments from scratch gives a certain satisfaction that you will only know once it’s done. Being able to say ‘oh I made it’ when you receive a compliment about something you made just makes you walk that little bit taller and hold your head that little bit higher.
While making clothes from scratch can’t be a little daunting and also time-consuming it is well worth it when you have something unique, well-fitting, and of great quality. You might be able to wear that silk dress that you might not have been able to afford therefore settling for a cheap polyester dress that just doesn’t quite fit or feel the same.
Another option to help reduce waste is up-cycling second-hand (thrift shop) clothing. If it be by altering a garment to better suit your style by removing, adding, lengthening, shortening, etc, or discarding the style completely and just using the fabric to make something entirely new. Giving life to an item otherwise destined for landfill is somewhat rewarding and just makes you feel that little bit better knowing you are doing something to help our environment. It all adds up.
So, here I am sharing my patterns and the knowledge and skills I have with you so that you too can feel proud to be wearing a garment you spent time and effort making. You will be able to follow along with my sewing tutorials or beginner basics ‘how tos’ to learn some new skills and gain confidence in your sewing ability.

5 out of 5 starsI really loved making this bralette! The pattern pieces are super accurate, and the whole thing came together beautifully. The triangle cups sit exactly how they should, and the underbust ruffle gathers down perfectly to the precise width needed for the band. One of my favorite things about the construction is how the fabric casing is sewn right onto the double ruffle layers. It keeps all those raw edges completely enclosed and makes it incredibly comfortable to wear without any scratchy elastic. The instructions recommend turning the straps out, but I found it much easier to just fold the edges in, fold them in half, and stitch them down to enclose the raw sides. It saved so much time and still gave them a beautiful, clean finish. It's just a fantastic, satisfying project!

How do I know what size to make my garment in?
Each of the listings has guide on how to measure your body. Once you have confirmed measurements use the sizing chart to choose which size to cut dependant on what country you are in

What is a PDF Pattern?
PDF patterns are computer-generated patterns that can easily be printed at home or at a print shop. Downloads are available immediately after payment is cleared so no waiting for the pattern to come in the post. All you need is a free Adobe Acrobat reader program.
The pattern is printed on standard A4 paper then glued (or taped) together and cut out.
Pattern download link will be sent immediately after payment is received. Please reach out if you need help accessing your downloaded pattern.
Please note, this is a digital, download-only pattern. You will not receive a physical copy in the post.
Custom and personalised orders
