Staying Home & Crafting Stuff!
My husband used to be an aviation engineer, designing cool things like propellers and de-ice systems and lots of things I don't try to understand. But we just like to be together! So, after three layoffs, he decided to try to make a go at running his own business from home. It's been an adventure and has resulted in www.wildhopsprintshop.com (where he sells tap handles, glassware, and custom bottlecaps to homebrewers and small-scale breweries) and his etsy shop, thecapmonger.etsy.com (wall mount bottle openers).
He also has a shop, photoceramics.etsy.com, where he sells mugs and Christmas ornaments.
We have a teething necklace shop that was started by our daughter when she was 7. She had a ton of fun for about 4 months and then started to wish she had never started a shop. =P So it has become a family shop, and she and her sisters make necklaces with me - which they love! That shop is nombabynecklace.etsy.com. I guess we are chronic etsians. =)
This shop had weird beginnings, but has become a pattern shop. =)
The name Beautiful Pie came from my baby and my 2-year-old. My little guy went up to her and said "Hey, cutie pie...gorgeous pie...beautiful pie with a cherry on top!" How sweet is that? So we call her Beautiful Pie. =)
