🌿 Live Plant Policy & Damage Claims

Thank you so much for supporting my small plant shop! Please review the following policies before purchasing:

📦 Inspection Upon Arrival

All live plants must be inspected immediately upon delivery. If your plant arrives damaged due to shipping, you must contact me within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the plant and packaging.

Damage reports made after 24 hours may not be eligible for refund or replacement.

⏳ Time Frame for Claims

Claims made beyond 48 hours after delivery will not be accepted.
Requests made weeks after delivery (such as 28 days later) fall well outside the reasonable reporting window for live goods and cannot be attributed to shipping damage.

🚫 No Returns on Live Plants

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, returns are not accepted.

🌱 Responsibility After Delivery

Once a plant has been delivered and accepted without a damage report, its ongoing health depends on care, environment, watering, light, temperature, and other conditions that are outside of my control. I am not responsible for plant decline due to care issues after delivery.

Thank you for your order! Please be aware that we do not include printed care instructions with your shipment. However, detailed care guidelines are provided in the product listing description for your reference.

These guidelines are general and based on typical growing conditions. Since we ship from California, your local climate and geographic conditions may differ significantly. For this reason, we are unable to provide additional advice on plant care beyond the general instructions already provided.

We encourage you to do your own research to better understand the specific needs of your plants. This includes decisions about when to repot, resoil, or make other care adjustments, as these factors depend on your unique environment and growing conditions.

REGARDING SHIPPING CONDITION:

As we strive to provide you with the best possible service and ensure the well-being of your plants, we would like to bring your attention to some important information regarding our shipping practices.

Shipping Conditions:
We want to inform you that we do not use heat packs for our shipments. Additionally, shipping to areas with extreme temperatures, whether too hot or too cold, poses a risk to the health of your plants.

Customer Responsibility:
It is crucial that you retrieve your plants from the mailbox as soon as they are delivered. Plants left in the mailbox for an extended period, especially in extreme weather conditions, may be at risk. Please be aware that if a plant deteriorates or dies due to prolonged exposure in the mailbox, it becomes the buyer's responsibility.

Refunds and Returns Policy:
We understand that receiving a healthy plant is important to you. Refunds and returns are not accepted unless the plant is severely damaged or dead upon arrival. In the unfortunate event that this occurs, we require photo evidence within 24 hours of the plant's arrival to initiate the necessary actions.

Normal Shipping Stress:
It's important to note that some stress during shipping is normal, and your plant may need a bit of time to recover after the journey. We recommend providing extra care and attention to your plants upon arrival.

While we make every effort to package your plants carefully to ensure they arrive safely, please understand that once the package is handed over to the shipping company, it is out of our control. Plants can sometimes become stressed during the shipping process as they are confined within a box for several days.

At the time of packing and shipping, we always choose the best of our current stock to send out. Your plants are selected to be as healthy and in as good condition as possible, considering the current season and pruning schedules.

It is crucial that you retrieve your package as soon as it’s delivered. Tracking information will be provided when your package is shipped. Prolonging retrieval can expose your plant to extreme temperatures, which may result in damage such as loss of leaves, wilting, and dryness. This is natural and to be expected; with proper care, your plant should bounce back to its optimal condition.

Please consider this before placing an order. If your plant arrives in a condition beyond recovery, contact us within 24 hours of receipt with pictures, and we will address the issue promptly.
