Cette pratique élargit l’histoire des livres plus anciens pour inclure de nouvelles possibilités de créativité et de tenue de dossiers, ce qui signifie que je peux personnaliser les cahiers pour répondre aux besoins des écrivains et des artistes individuels. Les nouvelles pages de chaque livre peuvent être de différentes couleurs, formes et poids, peuvent inclure des sections de cartes ou de papier peint, et peuvent incorporer certaines des pages originales à côté du nouveau papier.
Je suis également engagé dans une pratique artistique qui s’engage activement dans des contextes sociaux et littéraires plus larges. I specialize in reinvigorating old hardcover books by removing (and recycling) their original contents and inserting new blocks of pages. This practice expands the history of older books to include new possibilities for creativity and record-keeping, and it means I can customize notebooks to suit individual writers' and artists' needs. Each book's new pages can be of different colors, shapes, and weights, can include sections of maps or wallpaper, and can incorporate some of the original pages alongside the new paper.
I am also committed to an artistic practice that engages actively with broader social and literary contexts.
