Character Study Studios comenzó a fines de 2021 como una respuesta a hacer “algo creativo” y, me atrevo a decir, divertido, después de años de ser propietario y administrar mis propios negocios relacionados con perros y toda una vida ayudando a las personas con sus perros.
Había estado explorando posibilidades durante aproximadamente 2 años cuando me topé con el diseño de camisetas después de recibir una sudadera con gráficos de actividades al aire libre (y muy genial) para mi cumpleaños. Resulta que he acumulado bastantes habilidades en diseño gráfico a lo largo de los años, y lo que siguió fue un momento "eureka". ¡Esto podría ser!
Después de un par de meses investigando en mis horas libres, abrí mi tienda en Etsy y ¡estoy muy contenta! Me encanta diseñar y todavía me hace cosquillas cada vez que alguien me dice cuánto disfrutan ellos o su ser querido de su nueva camisa.
Pero, ¿por qué deberías comprar en Character Study Studio? Si eres como yo y te encantan los artículos con carácter, si es más probable que abras tu propio camino que seguir a la multitud, si te encanta encontrar artículos únicos, geniales e inteligentes para llevar a casa, entonces es muy posible que encuentres un casa aquí. Por supuesto, si te encantan los perros y hacer cosas divertidas con ellos, aquí te gustará.
Pero no son sólo los diseños lo que creo que te gustarán. Una gran parte de mi investigación (anterior y en curso) se centra en las camisetas de mejor calidad para imprimir, el mejor tipo de impresión en esas camisetas, las mejores paletas de colores, los estilos de diseño más atractivos y clásicos. ¡Estas camisetas no son algo para usar durante un fin de semana y luego tirarlas a la papelera de donaciones! Mi objetivo es crear diseños increíbles en camisetas increíbles que te encantará usar durante mucho tiempo en el futuro. (¿Soy raro que tiendo a apegarme a mis camisetas favoritas?)
Y por último, pero no menos importante, está el cómo te tratarán. Mi actitud de servicio al cliente es muy sencilla: tratar a los demás como me gustaría que me trataran a mí. Un ser humano a otro. Cada uno es un individuo; nadie es un número (o signo de dólar).

Character Study Studios started in late 2021 as a response to do “something creative” and – dare I say – fun, after years of owning and running my own dog-related businesses and a lifetime of helping people with their dogs.
I’d been exploring possibilities for about 2 years when I stumbled upon t-shirt designing after receiving an outdoorsy - and very cool - graphic sweatshirt for my birthday. I just happened to have accumulated quite a bit of graphic design skill over the years, and what followed was a “eureka” moment. This could be it!
After a couple of month researching in my free hours, I opened my Etsy shop, and I am so glad! I love designing, and I still get tickled pink every time someone tells me how much they or their loved one enjoys their new shirt.
But why should you shop at Character Study Studio? If you’re like me, and love items with character, if you’re more likely to blaze your own trail than follow the crowd, if you love finding unique, cool, clever items to bring home, then you might very well find a home here. Of course, if you love dogs and doing fun things with them, you should like it here.
But it’s not just the designs I think you’ll like. A huge part of my research (previous and ongoing) is into the best quality shirts for printing on, the best type of printing onto those shirts, the nicest color palettes, the most attractive and classic design styles. These shirts are not something to wear for a weekend and then get tossed in the donation bin! My aim is to make awesome designs on awesome shirts that you’ll love wearing for a long time into the future. (Am I weird that I tend to get attached to favorite shirts??)
And finally, but definitely not least, is how you’ll be treated. My customer service attitude is very simple: treat others as I would want to be treated. One human being to another. Everyone is an individual; no one is a number (or dollar sign).
