I'm supposed to write more here :-)
(I already wrote so much in the announcements section!!) Well, first I'll say HELLO and to please reach out, because I'm human, if you need help or maybe you like two or more items and are wondering about discounts, or if something is a gift ... I'm happy to do complimentary gifting for you with a card if you need, just let me know. I'm a person, so this shop is personal :-) and I ask you please feel free to reach out, even if it's just to say "hello." And if you're interested in anything internationally, like in Japan for instance, please visit any of my Trader Joe's sets listed to view just how to do that, an option I'm really excited about :-).
Aside that, more ABOUT ME, not sure what to say or what should be said, but as a lover of all things wild, plus being a bit of a sensitive spirit (or so I hear :-) I've been having a hard time reconciling the world around me lately. There's a lot of suffering out there and my mind is often on vulnerable populations (everything from the orangutan population, to stray animals, to children and hunger and people in need - my mind struggles to shut it all off). I do my best to do what I can, which often comes in the form of animal care; I build city shelters and care for strays round-the-clock daily. Plus I help with TNR work.
But my artistic brain needs an outlet and so I like to design and write and do various artistic projects in order to work things out when my mind gets run-down like this. Civil Discourse is a line of clothing, politically leaning, of my own words and art that I hope will be enjoyed.
And a bit of a hodge-podge, like my brain, I'm also happy to share my finds. My hand-picked items are generally rare and hard-to-find specialty and/or modern vintage items that I find and have collected over the years, held within the Etsy hand-picked listings, which I hope you'll like looking through. You might also see some of my other art here as well, we shall see!!
Again, thank you for browsing Civil Discourse, I'm grateful for the journey and grateful for you. And I truly mean it, if you need help or have questions, reach out anytime! I promise to do my best to help, and like with anything else in my life I'll work to be of service to you and to do so with kindness and care. I humbly ask for your patience though with regard to messaging; I can't treat this like text messaging due to eye and health issues (can't do any of this via a cell phone). But I will always usually check and reply within 24 hrs.
Thanks for reading, and if anyone hasn't told you today - you are enough!
