WHO WE ARE
Meet Kyle and Tyler. I'm Kyle, he's Tyler. We're a two person team with a passion for quality craftsmanship.
MY EARLY DAYS
From a very early age I have started, built up, and operated somewhere around a dozen businesses. I was so busy building businesses that during high school I missed a final exam so that I could buy equipment at an auction for my new startup. This one test (or lack thereof) caused me to not graduate. This didn't bother me though as I knew that running my own business didn't required a high school diploma.
THE LAST 20 YEARS
All the businesses I've started have been based on opportunity, not a desire to be involved in that type of work. I would see an opportunity and jump on it right away. I was excited as I built these businesses from the ground up, which largely involved fabricating equipment in my shop for these ventures. Unfortunately at some point I'd lose interest in the actual day to day operations once there wasn't much left to build.
The biggest opportunities I saw were in the heavy construction industry in Canada's north. This resulted in me working away from home for a large part of my life. In 2020 I became a father of my beautiful little girl. I realized that it was time for a change so I could be home in Kelowna around the things that mattered.
MY PASSION
I began analyzing what I really wanted, and what I liked most about all the businesses I had started. It became clear that the most enjoyable aspect of all my ventures was building the actual businesses, and designing/constructing the equipment for the businesses. There it was. After 20 or so years I realized I needed a business where the day to day operations involved building something.
I knew I was passionate about creating things. I then looked at my skills and interests to help narrow down a new business where I could be home with my family. I was skilled at metal work and had a strong interest in perfection and efficiencies. It clicked, I was going to start manufacturing.
FEROSA IS BORN
In the summer of 2022 I bought a CNC router and some powder coating equipment. With lots of learning along the way, I started making metal house numbers. Within a few weeks I had enough sales that I realized this could be a feasible business. For the next 9 months I continued growing the business and improving quality of the address numbers. Meanwhile I was still busy operating two other business. I was struggling to keep up with the workload of crafting house numbers and running all three businesses.
TYLER JOINS
With great timing, Tyler came along in the spring of 2023. He joined me full time making house numbers while Ferosa grew. Tyler's hands on skills and attention to detail were a perfect fit for what we were doing. With his great attitude it's been a pleasure working alongside Tyler. Together we're the two guys that create your luxury address numbers.
From start to finish we do everything in house. It all starts with a raw sheet of aluminum that gets loaded onto our CNC router. Once the address numbers are cut out we tumble them to provide a smooth finish. From there they go to our powder coating stage. After final inspection we move the numbers to our inventory where they are ready for shipping.
NEW SHOP
Although still in it's early stages, Ferosa had grown to the point I knew I had something that could be successful. During the latter part of 2023 and early 2024 I sold two of my other businesses so that I could focus soley on Ferosa. Handcrafting metal house numbers to perfection became my passion, and I knew I had to be all in. During the same time I built a new shop to handle our growth and provide us with an enjoyable work environment. We moved into the newly completed shop in the spring of 2024.

Whether it be quality, innovation, efficiencies, or marketing we are continually driven towards improvement. By providing our customers with the highest quality house numbers on the market and an exceptional experience, we are working hard at accelerating business growth.
